Meet The Team

I volunteer with CHIPS because I believe deeply in the power of learning through play. With a background in education, including early childhood, as well as psychology, and my experience as a mom of five, I’ve seen firsthand how play sparks curiosity, growth, and connection. I’m passionate about creating programs that support children’s development while giving families a welcoming space to learn, laugh, and play together.

I began volunteering with CHIPS shortly after moving to Wetaskiwin, and it’s been such a wonderful way to connect. As a mom, one of my greatest joys is watching my son explore his creativity—whether it’s through arts and crafts or his love of trains. CHIPS has given us a warm, welcoming space where he can grow and imagine, and where I can be part of a community that celebrates learning and play.

I decided to join C.H.I.P.S to get out of the house! One of the best parts for my boys is that the toys are on rotation so they never get tired of a room! Im excited to volunteer for another year
