Rhyming Tots

Rhyming Tots is a fun and engaging early literacy program designed for young children and their caregivers. Offered in partnership with the Wetaskiwin Community Learning Program (WCLP), this program introduces little ones to the magic of words, sounds, and stories through playful, interactive activities. Each session includes songs, rhymes, fingerplays, and simple stories that help children build vocabulary, develop listening skills, and strengthen their memory—all essential building blocks for future reading success.

The program is also designed with caregivers in mind, offering tools, tips, and fun activities that can easily be continued at home to support early literacy development. By repeating rhymes, singing songs, and enjoying storytime together, families create strong connections while encouraging a love for books and language. Rhyming Tots is more than just a class—it’s an opportunity to bond, laugh, and learn together while setting the stage for a lifelong love of reading.
