OUR STORY

The Children's Indoor Play Society (C.H.I.P.S.) was founded 40 years ago by a group of Moms and Dads who wanted to provide a safe and friendly environment for preschool kids to play and interact during the long winter months.

Starting off by renting the local drill hall, our volunteers had to set up and take down play equipment every day. But with an unwavering commitment to our cause, we have come a long way since then. Today, we have a permanent space where we can leave our equipment out all the time, making it easier for us to offer play more regularly.

Over the years, we have evolved from a mom-and-dad-run society to day home providers to a mixture of both.

C.H.I.P.S. is now run by a board of volunteer directors and all its amazing volunteers.

We host Wonder Wednesday, Rythming Tots (In Partnership with WCLP), several community events and rent out

our facility for birthday parties and other private functions.

As we continue to grow and evolve with the times, we are currently revamping and transforming our offerings to serve

the needs of our community better.

We remain dedicated to our mission of providing a safe and fun space for children to play and learn, and are grateful for the

support of our volunteers, members, and the community at large.
